How can Chiropractic help?
If any part of your spinal column becomes misaligned, the transmission of nerve impulses along the related spinal nerves may be distorted or blocked. Misalignments can occur for many reasons, most commonly incorrect lifting, sports or vehicle accidents, childbirth, falls, stress and poor posture.
McTimoney technique assesses the skeletal system as a whole, paying particular attention to the atlas (the top bone in the spine) and the sacroiliac joints (at the back of the pelvis). If the pelvis is unbalanced, this may have an impact on the alignment of the lumbar spine (lower back) and any impact may be compensated for throughout the spinal column.
